*Media Obituary*Dora Goodwin, 84, of Big Spring, died on Thursday, January 29, 2004, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 31, 2004 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Walter McCall, chaplain with Odyssey Hospice, officiating. Interment will be at Warsaw, Missouri.She was born on March 3, 1920, in South Dakota and married Forrest Goodwin in 1948 in Ottawa, Kansas. He preceded her in death in 1998.Mrs. Goodwin had lived in Big Spring since 1998. She like to fish, crochet and do crafts. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and loved her friends and family.She was a Baptist and a member of the VFW in Missouri.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Lacy Vaughn of Big Spring; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirely and Ed Crenshaw of Ocala, Florida and Vera and Charles Cunningham of San Angelo; three grandsons and their wives, Joey and Sally Grant and David and Tia Grant all of Sand Springs, and Michael and Tiffany Grant of Lubbock; and six great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother.The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater West Texas Chapter, 4400 N.
