Claudia, Lisa and Tresa I am so sorry that I could not make it to Dons Funeral. I have some heath problems that keep me from attending. Please know that Paula and I hold you in our prayers. May the Lord Bless and keep you in his precious will during this time. I had known Don since 1974 when I worked for Sid Richardson. Don Stabeno was truly one of a kind. He genuinely loved people and you did not have to be around him no time at all until you loved him as well. Dons family and mine had many great time together on many trips and family outings. Don was not only a great friend but was one of the kindest men I have ever known. Don Stabeno was the model of what a husband, father and friend should be. Dons family and mine went to Church together for a very long time. I am so glad that I could call him a brother in Jesus Christ. There are lots of people I am looking forward to seeing when I get to heaven and Don is on my list. You do not go through life and get to meet and love many people like Don Stabeno. I feel so blessed to have known Don and am looking forward to get to spend eternity with him. Rest in Peace my Brother in Christ for I will see you and we both can praise our Lord together. Love you man!!

My deepest condolences to the entire Stabeno family. Reading about Don's life, it is clear he leaves behind a beautiful legacy through his family, his faith, and the way he treated other people. To be remembered as a man of integrity who was kind, generous, loved unconditionally, and also “loved like Jesus” is a wonderful testament to a life well lived. Hoping you will find some comfort knowing his suffering has ended and strength in the faith that meant so much to him. I pray God holds your family close and that with time the pain of his absence is softened by a lifetime of wonderful memories.
