Donald Jerry Durr

Jerry Durr, age 59, of Midland, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2004, in Big Spring, TX. following a short illness. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 29, 2004 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Midland with Rev. Rodney White , officiating. Jerry was born on November 18, 1944, in Vidor, Texas and married Barbara Kimber on Sept. 24, 1977 in Amarillo, TX.Jerry served his country in the United States Army from 1963-1966. He enjoyed fishing and motorcycles. Jerry was a wonderful husband and father who cherished his children. He had been an aircraft mechanic for many years prior to working at Midland Lee High School as an assistant Building Engineer. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Durr of Midland, Texas; two sons, Jason Durr of Richmond, Missouri and Jeremy Durr of Midland, two daughters, Allison Durr and Adrianne Durr, both of Midland; two sisters, Ruby Ann Curtis of Richmond, Missouri and Linda Martone of Many, Louisiana;and two brothers, Charles Durr of Pleasant Hill, Louisiana and Billy Durr of Dennison, Texas.He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Raymond Durr, a sister, Rita Diane Durr, and two nephews, Doug Curtis and Raymond Durr, Jr.,
