I was saddened to read of Don's death. He was a good man. I could not have asked for a better supervisor for my first job in the summer of 1966. i still have thoughts of working the night shift that summer and some of our conversations in the receiving room. Don was always kind and fair to all of us. So were you, Shirley.

Our hearts go out to the Quick family in their time of loss. Don was a special guy who warmed the hearts of all who knew him. We had many times together where we would laugh and share stories and just have fun. He was an amazing man in that he loved life and was very strong in his faith. We know that he is walking with Jesus now in a perfect body and that we will see him again. May God comfort you and bless you during this time. We love you very much.

My heart is with the Quick family as I have known and loved them for years. Some of my children's fondest memories of childhood are derived from the kindness and love that we shared with Don and Shirley. My love to all, always.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

May god bless you today and in the days ahead! It's been many years since I have seen Don and Shirley, but will always remember the days we all went to school and church in Augusta.

My deepest condolences to the Quick family. I only had the opportunity to meet Don once while I lived in WI, but his humor, wit, and compassion for others really made an impression on me. His strength was extraordinary. I pray that God will comfort and console the family in their grief and sorrow. May they cherish the good memories and always remember what a vibrant and kind man that Don was. I am so sorry for your loss.
