Don Ray Driver Sr., age 76 of Odessa, Texas passed from this life on October 26, 2015.Don Driver was born on October 16, 1939 in Carbon, Texas to DM and Esther Driver. He was the youngest of 5 children. He attended Midland High School in Midland, Texas and worked for West Texas Office Equipment. Don raised his family in Ruidoso, New Mexico where he owned Western Office Equipment Co. He was very involved in the community. He started the Ruidoso Little League organization in 1967 and coached the Rotary team. He was a City Councilman, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and was involved in many civic organizations. He moved back to Midland Texas in 1980 and started several businesses.He loved spending time with his family. He had such a special place in his heart for his Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.On February 28, 1957 Don married Bobbie Jo Walden of Midland, Texas. Don and Bobbie Jo were married for 35 years. They had two children Don (Scooter) Driver Jr. and Dana Lynn Dennison.On September 28, 1993 Don married Jeanette Riley of Odessa, they were married for 22 years.He is preceded in death by his parents DM and Esther Driver, his wife Bobbie Jo, his brothers Charles and Kenneth and his sisters Dorothy and Yvonne.He is survived by his wife Jeanette Driver of Odessa; his son Don (Scooter) Driver Jr. and his wife Ann of Midland; his daughter Dana Dennison and her husband Gary of Justiceburg; his Stepsons Donnie Riley and his wife Shari of Odessa, Josh Riley and his wife Kiki of San Antonio; 9 Grandchildren Lindsey and husband Taylor, Brandon and wife Lydia, Clark and wife Brooke, Brooke and her husband Justin, Lacey and her husband Anthony, Darin, Melody, Andy and Tim; Great-Grandchildren Samuel, Hudson, Selah, Alize, Angel, AJ, Atianna and Abriella.Pallbearers will be his grandsons.Visitation with the family is scheduled for Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home in Midland. Funeral services will be Friday October 30, at St. Paul United Methodist Church at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.Memorials can be made to American Lung Association or American Cancer Society.,
