My brothers Patrick and Taylor and I would like to express our sincere sympathies for the loss of such a funny, funny guy. My mom has told us about Don all our lives. It was a dream come true to finally meet him. He was as funny as she said he was. It was so great listening to his stories. I even had a few of my own that made him laugh. We will always remember him and smile.

DONALD EDWARD MCADAMS, II He was a loving son, loyal brother, proud father, true friend, and a talented artist. He was a fun loving, wise cracking storyteller who could put a smile on anyone’s face. He was brave, courageous and strong. He touched the lives of all who knew him. He is gone but never forgotten. He lives in our hearts forever. Our loss is truly heaven’s gain. He was blessed with an adoring mother and dedicated father who both showered him with their love. He had two crown jewels that he displayed so proudly. Stephanie and Jessica are their names. They shine today because the love and loyalty he instilled in them. Their fierce love and strength will see them through. May the Good Lord comfort all those who mourn the loss of our beloved. “With God all things are possible”

Don, Cecilia, Wayne and girls, I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear of Donald's passing. I know my Granny (Chloea Bryant) and PaPa (Gene) thought a lot of your family, and you guys always made all of us kids feel like we were a part of your family. I miss those days! High School seems like it was a hundred years ago. Anyway, Please know that you all are in mine and Mom's prayers and know that if there is anything we can do beyond that, you need but give us a call! God Bless Ya'll!!!

Jessica and Stephanie, I haven't seen or talked to your Dad in over twenty years and I really regret that. But I want to tell you a little bit about your Dad's character from my perspective. Although it has been many years I know in my heart that if I would have called your Dad and said I am in trouble, he would have been here or done everything in his power to help me. I am sure it is no news to either one of you that he was just that kind of a guy. I have to tell this story. I have laughed about it for years. The setting is senior English class with Mrs. Barnett. Your Dad had been late to class many days in a row. Then when he would arrive he would always have to go to the office and get a pass. This went on and on and the teacher had lost all patients with him. He decided to start saving himself some time so he took a packet of passes from the office and just signed them himself. That was the last straw. He was in big trouble and there were all kinds of possibilites as far as discipline. So the next day the bell rang and no Donald. We were all worried because he had been in so much trouble. Pretty soon the door opened and in walked your Dad with one of those gadgets on his head that looks like you have an arrow running straight through your head. As well as I remember the teacher ended up laughing but he still had to go to the office. I know it was one of those things that you had to be there but it was one of the funniest moments you can imagine. I know your Dad left this place too soon for everyone. Even though I haven't met you I just know that your Dad adored both of you. As you walk out the rest of the days of your lives, please know that you and the rest of your family will be in my prayers. When you think of your Dad, seek God. Read about heaven. You will see him again. Tell your Grandparents and Wayne hi. May God Bless you and keep you in all your ways. If you ever need an ear, call me.
