Dolly Mae Parker, 90, of Big Spring, died on Friday, September 27, 2002, at her residence. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, September 30, 2002, at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park with, Rev. Ken McMeans, pastor of College Baptist Church, officiating. She was born on April 19, 1912 in San Saba County, Texas. Dolly came to Big Spring in 1950 and had worked for the Big Spring Independent School District in the cafeteria for eighteen years. She was a Methodist. Survivors include six daughters, Jean Sledge, Patsy Stuteville and Carrie Parker all of Big Spring, Betty Parisher of Cherokee, Sheila Barrera of Weatherford and Annette McDonald of Odessa; one son, William Randall Parker of Red Oak; eighteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Laural Parker on February 12, 1994 and one grand daughter. The family will receive friends from 7P.M. to 8 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Desta Drive, Suite 220 E, Midland, Texas 79705.
