Dennis Ringener, 59, of Stanton, died on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 in an Odessa hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, December 3, 2010 at the Downtown Church of Christ, Stanton, with Kendall Tomlinson, minister, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park, Big Spring.The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Gilbreath Funeral Home.He was born on November 21, 1951 in Big Spring and married Edna McKenzie on February 17, 1973 in Stanton.Dennis grew up in Big Spring, Martin County and Andrews. He graduated from Andrews High School. He started to work in the oilfield with Connolly Oil Company in Martin County, and the rest of his working career was spent in the oilfield until retiring in 1996. He was a member of Downtown Church of Christ.Survivors include his wife, Edna Ringener of Stanton; one son, Cody Ringener; two daughters, Colby Mathis and husband, Jimmy and Cheri Ringener all of Stanton; one sister, Carol Anderson of Big Spring and one grandson, Colton Dale Mathis of Stanton.He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Lynelle Ringener and two brothers, Ronald Ringener and Rocky Ringener.Arrangements under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton.
