Truly her family has lost a wonderful caring member. I have, since1951, felt like a member of the Clanton Family. Dee, as I always knew her , was a young lady that was in my church when I was a teenager. A special lady who was always willing to listen to my problems and always advised me to look to my Heavenly Father for the answers. I loved her then and now. Having lost my son in August I know the pain of death, and want to offer my sympathy to her surviving members. I will miss her.

Dee was a very special lady and friend. She had a great impact on my teen age years. She was so easy to talk to and never with a judging attitude. She was a true Saint of God and it showed in her life. Dee and E,R lived across the street from our family.I spent alot of time in thier home. Always felt welcome. I used to tease her about always cleaning out the ice box when My sister Gladys and Myself did the dishes for her. She would chuckle. God bless her loved ones.We seen her 4 yrs. ago at the Clanton renuion she was the same just a few more years on her but still had that special smile and love for everyone. My husband Tedd said she was the greatest. We loved her.

Alton and I have had plenty good times with his mom. She was a very special lady that was so good to Alton and myself. My thoughts are with Alton's kids and family. I will be at a funeral at Colorado City and unable to attend. Richard Hodnett

Dee was my Sunday school teacher for several years while I was growing up and was always one of my favorite people. I loved her very much. I always felt a special bond to her since her birthday was one day after mine even though it was 27 years different. I feel a great loss in the passing of my friend.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
