Delbert "Bert" Ray Foutch of Midland, Texas went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, January 31, 2007. An informal memorial service will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel, 3800 N Big Spring Street in Midland.He was born in Ipava, Illinois on May 31, 1936 to Russell and Dorothy Foutch. Before becoming a cross-country truck driver, Bert farmed in Elmira, Illinois. He moved to Midland and married Margaret Lester in May 1996. After retiring from Star Trucking in September 1999, he was actively involved in the lives of his grandchildren and nephews. Bert enjoyed traveling, bargain hunting, biscuits and gravy from Whataburger, and good Christian fellowship, but most of all he loved his family.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Janice, two sisters, Sandy Karnats and Delores Foutch.He is survived by his wife, Margaret Foutch of Midland, Texas; three daughters, Debbie Cox and her husband, Bill of Lakeland, Florida, Desiree Booth and her husband, Tom of Lakeland, Florida and LeAnna Barton and her husband, Rick of Midland, Texas; two sons, Shawn Foutch of Lakeland, Florida and Chadd Lester of Midland, Texas; seven grandchildren, Ryan and Gary Cox, Justin and Courtney Booth, Cole and Seth Barton and Albree Lester; a brother, Edward Foutch and his wife, Kathy of Monument, Colorado.Words cannot express Bert's life and words cannot express how much he will be missed.The family suggests memorials be made to Community Children's Clinic, PO Box 3328, Midland, TX 79701.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
