Deana Ann Smith, 46, of Ackerly, died on Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 22, 2002, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Larry Marshall, minister of Knott Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow at Ackerly Cemetery, Ackerly, Texas.     She was born on December 12, 1955 in Big Spring, Texas and married Stan Smith on December 27, 1974 in Lamesa, Texas.     Deana was a lifelong resident of Howard and Dawson Counties and attended Klondike Schools, graduating in 1974. She loved horses and mules and loved to train both. She was a member of many horse associations. Deana was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and friend.     She was a member of Knott Church of Christ.     Survivors include her husband, Stan Smith of Ackerly; two sons, Vance Smith and Clayton Smith both of Ackerly; her parents, E. D.,
