Dean Blake, 77, of Vincent, died Sunday, September 23, 2018, in a San Angelo hospital. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Courtney Ballard, pastor of Circuit Rider Cowboy Church, officiating.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.He was born May 13, 1941 in Howard County, Texas to John Blake and Agnes Wray Blake. He married Patsy Anderson August 26, 1998 in Midland, Texas.Dean was self-employed as an electrician for 40 years and had lived in Alaska for 35 years. He was a member of I.B.E.W. #1547 Union and the Circuit Rider Cowboy Church.Survivors include his wife, Patsy Anderson; two daughters, Jana Lyn Kurtz and husband, Joe, and Ronia Michele Blake and husband, Matt Szemkus; two grandsons, Kylor Murdock and Maddox Tyler Blake Wilinski; one great-granddaughter, Ainsley Murdock; and two step sons, Rich Anderson and Clint Anderson and wife, Misty.He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Charley Ray Blake.The family suggests memorials to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund, % Julie Jutten, 101 Pro Rodeo Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80910 or a charity of your choice.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory.
