David Wayne Warren

David Wayne “Butchie” Warren, 74, passed away January 16, 2023 in Midland, TX. David was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was born October 16, 1948 in Gorman, TX and spent his youth in Eastland and Monahans, TX. He was a proud Monahans Lobo where he was active in many sports, and still holds school records in the discus. In 1969, David voluntarily joined the army along with two lifelong friends. He served his country both in active duty and in the reserves until 1974. He married his wife, Susan in 1972. Together they had three children, Jennifer, Lorie, and David Stewart.

David moved to Midland in 1979, where he became an accomplished and well known salesman in the oil industry. He loved planning and hosting many golf tournaments. David will be remembered as a fun-loving, outgoing guy who loved fishing, hunting, golfing, all sports, grilling, and entertaining.

David was preceded in death by his parents H.D. and Margie Warren and sister, Carolyn Warren. He is survived by his wife, Susan, of 50 years, and children Jennifer (Aaron) Cristan, Lorie (Gerardo) Aguilar and David (Amanda) Warren. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren; Nicolas, Clair, and Carson Cristan, Korbin, Skylyn, Greysen, and Hudson Aguilar, and David Cole and Evelyn.
