David Thomas Ragan

David Thomas Ragan, 24 of Midland, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm-8:00pm, Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Monday, July 3, 2023 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

David was born on November 22, 1998 in Odessa, Texas to Lori and David Ragan. David was raised in Midland, where he enjoyed playing video games and hanging out with his friends. He had an appreciation for working with food and used it as a creative outlet while he worked as a chef for 3 years. David was usually seen laughing and joking around with his favorite people.

David’s life was cut short, and though we do not have all the answers, we do know that he is no longer fighting the battles of this world, and that brings us peace.

David Thomas is survived by his mother Lori Thompson Tarlton, brother Micheal Howk & wife Courtney, his nephew Gavin Howk, his grandmother Dorothy Thompson, his uncle James Thompson & wife Brittany, and his uncle Scott Ragan & wife Gina.

David was preceded in death by his father, David Ragan, his grandfather James D. Thompson, and his grandparents Dick and Doni Ragan.

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And he who was seated on the throne, said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” – Revelation 21:4
