David Budke, 63, of Big Spring, died Thursday, June 7, 2012, in a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 11, 2012 at Texas Veterans Cemetery in Abilene with Rev. Bob Boyce, officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, June 10, 2012, at the funeral home.The family is planning a Memorial Service for David in Big Spring at a later date.David was born July 22, 1948, in St. Charles, Missouri and married Glenda Dolline McCrea July 18, 1981 in Big Spring, Texas. He had lived in Big Spring since 1963. He served in Vietnam and was a shop teacher at Big Spring High School for 34 years. David was a faithful member of the Alive In Christ Luthern Church and a former member of the St. Paul Luthern Church. Survivors include his wife, Dolline Budke of Big Spring; one son, Daniel Eric Budke of Lubbock; and one sister, Ruth Ann Budke of Georgetown. The family suggests memorials be made to Buffalo Trails Council Boy Scouts of America, 610 Scurry, Big Spring, Texas, 79720 or to your church.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
