Darryl Sisson

Darryl Sisson, 87, of Stanton, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 in Big Spring, Texas.  Services will be held at a later date due to COVID.

Darryl was born November 24, 1933 in Martin County, Texas to Alva Lorene Cornelius Sisson and Lonnie Hiawhatha Sisson.  He married Rosean Beckman on September 24, 1954 in Stanton, Texas.  She preceded him in death.  He was a mechanic for Franklin & Sons for over 45 years before retiring in 2006.  He was a member of Courtney Baptist Church for many years before it closed.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, car-racing and building race cars.

He is survived by one son Neal Sisson of Stanton and Deana Jones of Greenville, Texas and many grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rosean, one son Darryl Floyd Sisson II and three brothers.
