Daron Ray, 32, of Midland, formerly of Big Spring, died on Saturday, November 27, 2004, in Midland. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 2, 2004 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Jim Binnix, pastor of Midway Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.Daron was born on July 23, 1972, in San Antonio and was a lifelong resident of Big Spring and Howard County. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church.Daron was a graduate of Coahoma High School and TSTC in Waco. He also attended Microsoft SE School in Salt Lake City. He began farming in 1999 and also was the owner of Ray Tech Internet. Daron was passionate about cars and weightlifting. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles and all sports. In all that he did, it was full throttle and nothing less. He will be missed greatly by all his family and friends.Survivors include his parents, Dois O. and Lyn Nell Ray of Big Spring; one sister and brother-in-law, Andrea and Hud Haas of Ft. Worth; his grandparents, Dois M. and Bess Ray of Big Spring; one nephew, Lukas Haas of Ft. Worth; his aunts and uncles, Dona and Duane Rogers of Euless, Dwayne and Sara Ray of Carrollton, Jeanette and M. A. Snell of Lampasas, Paul and Carolyn Ray of Carrollton, Burnis and Frances Mason of Sand Springs, and Lee Ida Rainey of Austin; numerous cousins and a host of loving friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Ray of Big Spring and Albert and Goldie Mason of Coahoma. The family suggests memorials to the Midway Baptist Church Building Fund, 6200 S.
