Virginia Darlene Reynolds, 75, entered God's Kingdom on the 25th day of December 2007.She was born in Abilene, Texas on June 23, 1932 to Beatrice and Tom Davidson. She lived in Abilene until her family moved to Roscoe, Texas in 1939. She graduated from Roscoe High School in 1950 and then moved to Sweetwater in 1951. She married Harlan A. Reynolds on May 9, 1953 in Sweetwater, Texas. She and Harlan lived in Stanton, Texas prior to moving to Midland, Texas in 1958 to 2002. She was a bookkeeper for Harlan Reynolds Construction for over 40 years. In 2002, she moved to Sherman, Texas. In 2003 she moved to Dallas, where she resided until the time of her death. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harlan Reynolds and her parents.Darlene will be greatly missed by family and friends who loved her, and especially by her children and grandchildren who will always treasure her love, sweetness and caring ways.When her children were young she enjoyed teaching children's Sunday School, working VBS and was involved in Girl Scouts with her daughters. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, ceramics and sewing. Darlene was a member of Crestview Baptist Church in Midland, Texas.Those remaining in her family to cherish her memories include; daughters, Debra Murphy and husband, Lyle of Sherman, Texas and Sue Larsen and husband, Greg of Midland, Texas; son, Mark Reynolds of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren, Stacey Bishop and husband, Everett of Amarillo, Texas, Curtis Murphy of McKinney, Texas, Christopher Murphy and wife, Renee and great-grandson, Bryton of Sherman, Texas, Carrie Murphy of Sherman, Texas, Andrew Larsen of Midland, Texas, Jennifer and husband, Shawn Bentley, Petty Officer Second Class of the United States Navy, Fort Worth, Texas; brothers, Billy Davidson and wife, Velma of Fort Worth, Texas, Buster Davidson of Clyde, Texas; sister, Priscilla Davis and husband, Maurice of Odessa, Texas; as well as many nieces and nephews.Services will be held Friday, December 28, 2007 at 3:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel in Midland.
