Daniel Ramon Salcedo, 37, of Midland, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013, in Midland. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, June 24, 2013 at Mid-Cities Community Church with Pastor Daniel Stephens and Pastor Kevin York, officiating. Daniel was born July 23, 1975 in Fort Worth, TX to Myra and Andre Salcedo. He loved God, his wife, his family and his friends. Daniel always knew how to lighten the air or make someone smile. He loved those who were hard to love and made himself available to anyone in need. He was a playful loving father and adored his three children. Daniel is well known for his impersonations of Michael Jackson and could always find peace and rest in music.Survivors include wife Leigh Anne Salcedo of Midland; son, Taylor Jones, daughter, Trinity Salcedo and son, Elijah Salcedo, all of Midland; parents, Andre and Myra Lee Salcedo of Midland; sister, Amanda Salcedo of Midland; mother and father-in-law, Roy and Terri Jackson of Midland; sister and brother-in-law, Shellie and Aaron Williams of Tyler, TX; grandmother, Chala Salcedo of Haltom City, TX; grandfather, Arlie Dean Tatum of New Mexico; and cousin, Jessie Ralat of Dallas, TX; best friends, Michael Duarte, Stephen Magee and family, and Michael Terry and family. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jess Salcedo and brother-in-law, Shannon Jackson.Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Terry, Mike Duarte, Stephen Magee, Tyrone Kendrick, Derrick Trahum, Nathan Lambert, Sargon Tamres, Scott McCloud, and Taylor Jones.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Security Bank, Acct # 4140303, The Daniel Salcedo Family.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. I have known the Salcedo family since arriving in Midland. Daniel was a student of mine. My heart goes out to his family. He was a joy to be around, and I know he will be sorely missed by all who had the joy of knowing him. My prayers are with you all.

There is no one like Daniel. He made me laugh so hard so many times. I will always remember him as an extremely gifted person who understood how to bring happiness to others. I will miss him.
