Dan was the sweetest, gentlest most quiet guy ever. I didn't get to spend as much time with him and Syl as I would have liked to growing up but enjoyed being with them when possible. Their parents were wonderful people also. Jennifer and Amy, I know you don't know me but I got to see you once when you were very small. Your father loved you both and was very proud to be your Dad. I am so sorry he was so ill when he went in the hospital. He is not in pain or suffering anymore, try to take comfort in that. You still have your sweet Aunt Syl and her family, your families and most of all, each other. I love you all very much and am sorry I couldn't attend. I am my Mother's primary caregiver and she has not been well since November. Hope to see you someday. signed, Cousin Charla and family
