With sadness, love, and profound gratitude, the family of Daniel Hiram Gonzalez announces his going home to be with the Lord at the age of 56 on October 11, 2022, in Midland, Texas, peacefully and surrounded by his beautiful and devoted wife, Esther at his side and sons.
Daniel was born on September 18, 1966, in Rio Grande City, Texas to Rev. Hector R. Gonzalez and Benita Orona Gonzalez.
He married the love of his life Esther Gonzalez, July 30, 1988, and over the span of few years apart but always having a great love and devotion for one another Daniel and Esther remarried on March 20, 2021, in Midland, Texas.
Daniel loved music. He started playing the piano at an early age at United Methodist Church in Alice, Texas. He could play the piano, keyboard, bass, and sing. Daniel sang with Shekinah Glory Ministry along with his brothers. He was the Pastor of Heart of Worship in Odessa, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Hector R Gonzalez, Benita O Gonzalez, brothers Hector Gonzalez Jr., and Victor Gonzalez.
Daniel is survived by Esther, his beloved wife, his sons, Cailen and Kendall Gonzalez, grandson Arian Miguel Gonzalez, brother, Richard Gonzalez, and sister, Brenda Hobson.
Daniel was a loving husband, a great father and grandfather. He was a Godly man to his family and will forever be in their hearts.
The family will be holding a Memorial Service at Lifehouse Fellowship, 1607 N. FM 1788, Midland, Texas 79703, on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 2:00 pm.
