Our beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and husband, Dan Foreman, was a humble, modest man of great strength and faith who loved the Lord and his family. He was born September 27, 1937 to Mayme Webb Foreman and S. J. Foreman in Big Spring, Texas and grew up on the family farm in Lenorah, Texas. He graduated from Stanton High School and continued his higher education.His father not only farmed but also was Postmaster which was in their home. Dan grew up in the U.S. Post office which later became his career for 46 years. He loved helping others and served as a volunteer in several charitable organizations from delivering Meals on Wheels to helping build Habitat homes. He enjoyed studying the Bible and being involved in serving in the church.Dan loved to be with his family and took pride in all their accomplishments from sports, music, education or just “chinching around” as a family hiking in Ruidoso or sitting on the front porch playing dominoes at the McRae cabin.He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Phil Foreman. He is survived by his brother Sam Foreman (Frances), sister-in-law Jonnie Foreman, his wife, Judia Perry Foreman and their three children: Jay Foreman, Danica Moreland (Byron) and Jennifer Monroe (Scott). His grandchildren: Amy Van Winkle (David), Shaun Foreman (Brianna), Sam Foreman, Kate Foreman (Josh Cantu), Madison Foreman, Clark Moreland (Carrie), Danielle Wood (Doug), Amy Moreland (Jordan Morren), Maggie and Conrad Monroe. He is survived by 10 Great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.Special thanks to caregiver Kevin Dominguez, and Hospice of Midland staff: Maria, Blanca, Melissa, Paula and volunteer, George.Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 10:00 am at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Steve Schorr officiating. Private family burial will be held at Resthaven Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Presbyterian Church, Grace Presbyterian Church, Bynum School or a charity of your choice.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
