Curtis Arceneaux, 73, of Big Spring, died on Saturday, January 17, 2009, in a local hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton with Rev. Jeff Stehle, pastor of Baptist Temple, officiating.The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 7 PM Monday at the funeral home.He was born on September 3, 1935, in Rayne, Louisiana and married Joyce Gamel on April 21, 1970 in Ozona, Texas.He served in United States Army during the Korean War. He had worked in maintenance for several companies for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid gardener and was a member of Baptist Temple.Survivors include his wife, Joyce Arceneaux of Big Spring; two sons, Richard Arceneaux of Louisiana and Brian Arceneaux and wife, Kim of Dyer, Tennessee; one brother, Louis Arceneaux of Church Point, Louisiana; one sister, Regina Arceneaux of Abbyville, Louisiana; and one grandson.The family suggests memorials to the Big Spring Humane Society, P.
