Currie Lee Marion, 78 of Midland, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018. A visitation will be held from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm, Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will hold a memorial service at their home, 1814 E Magnolia in Midland, immediately following the visitation.Currie Lee Marion was born June 7, 1939 in Rosebud, Texas to Ollis and Jessie Marion.Currie is survived by his wife, Ella Walker Marion; his children, Currie Factor, Belinda Williams, Carey R. Williams (Deena), Timothy W. Marion (Linda), Ann Marie Clark, Etta J. Husley (Moss), Kenneth Wayne Marion, Tina Marie Walker and Ryan Paul Walker; brothers, James Marion, Henry Earl Marion (Vickie); sister, Ollis Lorene Marion; 40 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 2 very special grandchildren, MacKenzie Walker and Rose Lynn Walker; sister-in-law, Louise Williams; brother-in-law, Elmer Montgomery and his wife Rita; a host of nieces and nephews; and thousands of wonderful friends.Currie is preceded in death by his parents, Ollis and Jessie Marion; sister, Rosie Saddler; sons, Robert Gene Walker and Willie Gene Walker.The family would like to express their gratitude towards Midland Ambulance Service and Midland Memorial Hospital Emergency Room staff.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
