Cristine Alane Rotan, of Midland, Texas, peacefully passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 73. Born on July 15, 1950, in Warren, Pennsylvania, she was the beloved wife of David Rotan.
Cristine cherished her family and was a devoted sister to Jackie Fernz, Pam McNeela, Clyde Lindgren, Wendy Raburn and Jon Lindgren. She was a constant source of love and support for her siblings throughout their lives, always ready with a listening ear and a comforting presence.
Cristine’s warm and compassionate nature endeared her to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her radiant smile brightened the lives of those around her, while her kind-heartedness and empathy touched the hearts of many. She had an unwavering ability to uplift others, offering words of encouragement in times of need.
When she wasn’t spending quality time with her loved ones, Christine enjoyed delving into her favorite books, exploring different cultures through travel, and nurturing her creative side in various artistic endeavors. Her passions and interests added depth and color to her life, enriching the lives of those around her in turn.
As we reflect on Cristine’s life, we find solace in the memories we shared with her. Her gentle nature and unwavering love will forever be etched in our hearts, reminding us of the profound impact she had on our lives.
Cristine will be dearly missed by her devoted husband, David, her step-children, Casey Rotan, Kevin Rotan and Wayne Rotan her siblings, and numerous extended family members and friends. We take comfort in knowing that her spirit now rests in eternal peace, watching over us all.
Cristine is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Wendy Raburn.
A gathering to honor Cristine’s remarkable life will be held at The Branch @ npw on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to attend and share their memories of Christine’s beautiful journey. Let us celebrate her life and find solace in each other’s company as we bid a final farewell to this extraordinary woman.
