Cozette Carr, 87, of Big Spring, died on Saturday, June 20, 2009, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rick Cunningham, minister of 14th and Main Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.She was born on July 31, 1921, in Snyder, Texas. She married Travis Greenfield in 1937 and he preceded her in death. She then married Bryan Carr on December 29, 1976 in Coahoma.Mrs. Carr moved to Coahoma in 1945 and to Big Spring in the mid 1970's. She was a homemaker and was a member of 14th and Main Church of Christ.Survivors include her husband, Bryan Carr of Big Spring; one brother, Walter White of Georgia; four daughters, Romona Pierce and husband, R. Ford and Patsy Wall all of San Antonio, Lovonda Graham and husband, Jim of Tomball and Peggy Rhea and husband, Don of Amarillo; 19 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews and many friends.
