Constance Mae Barnard

Constance \Connie\ Mae Barnard (nee Merkel) of Austin, Texas passed away on Monday, February 8th, 2016 in Odessa, Texas, at the age of 76. Connie was born in Roaring Spring, PA, the oldest of four siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul S. Merkel & Margaret (Nale) Merkel, husband, Robert \Bob\ Barnard and her middle son, Paul L. Barnard. She is survived by her sons Robert \Rob\ K. Barnard II and Bryan W. Barnard, her siblings, Judy Boor, Mary Eshelman and Paul Merkel, Jr., and three grandchildren, Matt Trevino, Bethany Stolken, and Garret R. Barnard as well as several great grandchildren. Her ashes will be interred at her husband's gravesite at the USAF Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family asks that you find an individual in need or charity within your community to help.,
