Our little Boy Blu has left this Earth for everlasting life with Jesus. How sweet it is that Jesus is the first to hear Colton's voice! 24 years ago, God blessed us with a very special little boy. With God's grace, Colton surpassed every obstacle that Western Medicine claimed he never would. Faith is a wonderful thing! Colton was a gentle young man by nature. He did not know a stranger. He was always willing and eager to give anyone a hug, a kiss, or just sit and hold your hand.He was strong willed at times, some would call it stubborn, but that was his strength to make it through the challenges that God laid before him and there were many. Colton never spoke a word, he never got to eat and taste the foods we take for granted, he was never able to play in the dirt, ride a skate board, play baseball or bring his Mom a pocket full of flowers as a present like other little boys; but we are certain that he is doing all of those things in Heaven and smiling. Colton was extremely loved on Earth and is just as loved in Heaven. We have no doubt that Great Ma'am is planting kisses all over his face, Grandma Sally is rocking him singing See-See Sailor and Aunt Tina is playing hide-n-seek and ring-around-the-rosies.Our family has been overwhelmed and humbled by the many people that have been a part of Colton's journey. We have received many acts of kindness whether it be a prayer, a kind word, a hug, or acceptance of Colton. There was never a gesture too small or unnoticed. They were all appreciated and we were very fortunate and grateful to have had so many people willing and eager to help. We want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you.The family will receive guests at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Wednesday, April 29, 2015.
