Colleen Holloway, 68, of Tarzan, died on Wednesday, June 19, 2002 in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM June 21, 2002 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park with Rev. Jack Clinkscales pastor of Tarzan Baptist Church, officiating. Assisting will be Rev. David Harp pastor of First Baptist Church Stanton. She was born on July 2, 1933 in Big Spring, Texas and married Gleen Holloway on June 9, 1950 in Martin County. Mrs. Holloway farmed with her husband, Gleen in Martin County. She was a member of Tarzan Baptist Church. She taught Vacation Bible School was a Sunday School Teacher a 4-H mother and worked as a volunteer for the Martin County Historical Society. Survivors include her husband, Gleen Holloway of Tarzan; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Tahita Holloway of Tarzan; two daughters and son-in-laws, Deborah and Bob Adkins of Lomax and Brenda and Jim Epley of Cleburne; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church Stanton, P.O. Box 1168, Stanton, Texas 79782 or Tarzan Baptist Church, P.O. Box 25, Tarzan, Texas 79783. The family will receive friends Thursday From 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Gilbreath Funeral Home. Mrs. Holloway will be in state at the funeral home until Friday morning. She will be in state at Nalley-Pickle & Welch from 10 A.M. until service time. Arrangements under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home.,
