My prayers are with the family. Cleo was a very dear friend. We met at a health seminar about 8 years ago. I am going to miss him so much. He lived very far from me, but we talked over the phone several times a month, and I visited him in Big Spring, and had the pleasure of meeting most of his family and a some of his friends. He was one of the most caring and giving people I have ever met. He was full of love, life & light and that light has truly blessed the world he lived in, and will shine forever in everyone that every knew him.

Mr Carlile was my 6th grade teacher--- he was a wonder teacher. He was one of those teachers who really makes a difference in your life. I will always be thankful for his guidance. I will be praying for his family during this very difficult time.
Terry Phillips left a message on November 29, 2012:
Cleo was my mentor in business and taught me just about everything I know about the principals of business and in large part - life. I worked for him at Star Com Distributing in Big Spring and traveled all over the Midwest setting up new dealers for our products. Much of the success that I have to date is because of the investment he made in my life and I will always remember, appreciate and forever be indebted to his contributions in my life.To his family I offer my most heartfelt sympathy. We are grieving for Cleo's family and friends and we hurt with you. Having known Cleo in several capacities over the years, I have a great love and respect for him. I know he took great pride in his family and cared for the things of our Lord. May God be with you in the days ahead and express your memories as you touch the lives of others.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

To all the family, my deepest sympathy. Cleo and Thelma were once so much a part of Jim's and my life, and we thought of them as such fine people. Cleo was a good, and fair, businessman and contributed much to the lives of so many people and his presence in this world will be missed by many of us. I am keeping in touch w/ the funeral home via the net while I am traveling and so want to be there with all of you to honor Cleo at his memorial service; if I can't be in person , will be there in spirit and thru this message send my sympathy to Linda and her family and to Cindy, Deanna, Beverly and Joe and all the family.
