Clarence Henry Buresh, 83, of Midland, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Clarence was born February 19, 1931, to Barbara and Adolph Buresh in Schuyler, NE, as the youngest of five children. He lived on his family’s farm until 1950, when he took classes at a business school in Omaha, NE. He next served active duty in the Army from 1952-1954, before beginning work at Northern Natural Gas in Omaha, NE the following year. On June 21, 1957 he married Shirley Pearl King in Omaha. After having five children together, the couple moved to Midland, TX in 1972. An avid golfer who loved to travel, Clarence retired in 1986 and lived the rest of his life in Midland. Shirley passed away on March 21, 2006.Clarence is survived by his son, Brad Buresh and wife Sandra; four daughters: Laurie Huff and husband Randy, Cindy Martin and husband Brian, Amy Elrod and husband Terry, and Lisa Raphael and husband David; eight grandchildren, Christopher Huff and wife Katie; Amanda Huff, Megan Huff, Austin Williams and wife Megan; Nicole Burman and husband Collin; Rori Buresh, Garret Martin and Michelle Martin; and two great grandchildren: Tyler Williams and Presley Burman. He is also survived by his sister, Arline Jirsak and husband, James; and his brother, Robert and wife Bernadine.Funeral services will be on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 3:00PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland, 3800 N. Big Spring St., Midland, TX with Rev. Mary Beth Anton officiating.
