So sorry to hear about Clara Mae's passing. She was a wonderful member and supporter of her pastors at Big Spring First Church of the Nazarene for many years. I enjoyed my times of visiting with her and hearing her sing at the Spears' home. She was a blessing to me as her pastor. She is rejoicing along with her husband that she missed so dearly and all is well with her soul!

The fondest memories I have of Aunt Clara are back when all the first cousins were young, and during the holidays the four sisters would sing together. Clara, Catherine, Lucy, and Peggy had the most perfect harmony. The one song that I remember most is "In the Garden". One day, because of the shed blood of Christ, all that have received Him as Saviour will get to be there with Jesus. Rom. 10:13 Whosoever shall call upon the Lord shall be saved! In times of need He giveth more grace.

I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Clara. The last being at the Richardson family reunion in 2008. As she was leaving, at the end of the day, my sister, Diane, asked her to sing. She said she couldn't, but proceeded to sing an entire religeous song and remembered all the words and sang beautifully. There was not a dry eye in the house. I will keep and cherish that memory forever. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all, Ronnie, Danny, Stevie and Cindy.
