Clara M. York

Clara M. York, 96, of Coahoma, died Saturday, December 24, 2016 in a local hospital. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.Clara was born October 15, 1920 in Lucca,Italy to Sam and Fanny Gregori. She married W. A. York, a serviceman stationed there during World War II, June 6, 1949 in Fort Benton, Montana. They lived several places around the world including Webb Air Force Base in Big Spring, Texas, while W.A. was in the Air Force. When he retired, they moved back to Big Spring and lived between Texas and Montana for the rest of their days. He preceded her in death February 25, 2001.She was a faithful member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish and volunteered for the Hospital in Great Falls, Montana.Clara is survived by two daughters, Joyce Baumann and husband, Jeff of Big Spring, and Carla Brant of Coahoma; two granddaughters, Janis Bushman and husband, Gavin of Montana, and Maggie Pietsek and husband, Caleb of Odessa; and five great grandchildren, Gregg Bushman, Riley Thompson, Raven Taylor, Jade Taylor, and Keylee Pietsek.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, John Thompson; one sister, Inez Slonaker; and two brothers, Lando Gregori, and Fr.
