Clairese Hale, 75, of Stanton, died on Sunday, December 30, 2007, in Midland. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at the First Baptist Church Stanton with Rev. Derrick Looney pastor of Forsan Baptist Church officiating and Rev. Leandro Gonzales, Jr. pastor of Lenorah Baptist Church assisting. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park Big Spring. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 1, 2007 from 6 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home. She was born on January 13, 1932, in Knott, Texas and married Doyle Hale on July 19, 1950 in Stanton, Texas. Clairese was a help to Doyle in his involvement with Scouting. She was a Den Mother for Pack 37 for 6 years. She lived in Big Spring for 17 years and was involved with the Washington Elementary PTA and taught Sunday School at Hillcrest Baptist Church and volunteered at Grady School for many years. They moved to Stanton in 1967 where she and Doyle farmed in the Badgett Community. She was a member of Tarzan Baptist Church and a member of Beta Sigma Phi for over 35 years. Survivors include husband, Doyle Hale of Stanton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Peggy Hale of Stanton and Gary and Melissa Hale of Stanton; three grandchildren, Matt Hale of Midland; Brandi Grant of Midland and Heather Lopez of Honolulu, Hawaii; five great grandchildren, Brooke Hale of Pecos, Evan Luttrell of Midland, Kaitlyn, Cameron, and Collin Grant all of Midland; one brother, Kimmie Long of Big Spring; three sister, Gerry Stroud of Stanton, Peggy Ballard of Big Spring and Betty McDonald of Abilene. The family suggests memorials made to Hospice of Midland, P.O. Box 2621, Midland, Texas 79701 or to the charity of ones choice. Arrangements under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton.
