Christopher Brian House passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 after a brief illness at Midland Memorial Hospital.He was born July 25, 1983 to Jennie Lang House and Bernard Lee House, Jr. of Midland. A visitation will be held at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 6, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Steve Schorr officiating.Brian attended Bowie Elementary, San Jacinto Jr. High and graduated from Midland High in 2002. He also attended Austin Community College. Brian played football and baseball. He was a fanatic Texas Longhorn fan. Brian worked with his father as a petroleum landman.His outgoing personality is what his family and friends loved the most about Brian. His friends describe Brian as “a guy with a smile as big as his heart.” Brian never met a stranger, was very close to his family, and especially loved being an uncle to his nephew, Jaxon.Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Patty and Bernie House, Louise and Garland Lang, and his niece, Abigail Leak.He is survived by his parents Jennie and Lee House, his sister Caitlin Leak, her husband Zane and his nephew Jaxon Leak, all of Midland. He is survived by his girlfriend, Brittany Inskeep, and her daughter, Madeline. Brian is also survived by his aunts and uncles: Ellen and Charles House, Margaret and Tom Williams, Karen and Gary Lang, and Greg Lang. His cousins include: Jeff House, James House, Angela Palma, Russell Williams (Felicity), Stuart Williams (Leah), Caroline Williams, Kimberly Sanberg (Elizabeth), and Garrett Lang.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 800 W. Texas Avenue, Midland, Texas 79701, or to a charity of one’s choice.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
