Chris was born on November 29, 2004, in Big Spring, TX, to Christopher Aaron Salazar, Sr. and Maggie (Mendez) Rangel. He loved playing basketball and football. Chris loved the Golden State Warriors and Dallas Cowboys. He grew up playing football with his brothers.
Chris is survived by his parents, Ruben and Maggie Rangel; daughter, Bella Rose Marie Salazar; siblings, Valerie Salazar, Matthew Salazar, Gabriel Rangel, and Hazel Rangel; maternal grandmother, Lisa Marie Salazar; paternal grandparents, Ida Rangel, Pete and Cathy Salazar; maternal great-grandmother, Maria Rivas; paternal great-grandfather, Vicente Rangel; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
Chris was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandfather, David Ovalle; and paternal grandfather, Edward Rangel, Sr.
