Cheri L. Haechten, 36, of Big Spring, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025. Viewing will be held from 10am until 9pm, Friday, October 10, 2025 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm. Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:00am, Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Kendall Tomlinson, officiating.

Cheri was born October 8, 1988 in Midland, Texas to parents Dennis Ringener and Edna McKenzie Ringener. She had been a resident of Big Spring for many years. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing games, spending time with family, fishing and boating. She especially loved butterflies.

Cheri is survived by her husband Albert of 14 years; her children: MacKenzie, Alexander and Andrew, and 7 grandchildren; her mother Edna Ringener, mother-in-law Sharon (King) Thomas, sister Colby Mathis (Jimmy), niece Ryleigh Mathis, nephew Colton Mathis, brother Cody Ringener (Carla), and numerous cousins, and other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Dennis Ringener, father-in-law Albert Haetchen, her uncles Herbert Armstrong and Dale McKenzie, sister-in-law Shirley Agnes, Edna Ruth McKenzie, Calvin Earl McKenzie and Lynell Ringener.

Cheri and I attended Stanton school together. When I was informed of her passing, a memory quickly came to mind of hearing her laughter down the school hallway during the 5 minutes we all had to switch classes. I was getting my books from my locker and I hear this laugh and so look up to get a glimpse of Cheri laughing with a group of other kids. Although we were not in the same grade, her kindness and gentle way transcended any grade and classroom. Hugs to you dear Cheri and to your family! Until we get to hear your wonderful laugh again in Heaven.

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts and memories. You will be dearly missed beyond measure by all of us Cheri. RIP sweet lady.

I met Cheri when I placed my parents at Lamun. She was one of the first that comforted me and my parents as we transitioned into Lamun. She was so caring, understanding, and loving. We were truly blessed with her happiness each time we seen her. She will be truly missed
