Charlotte and her husband moved to Midland in 1947 when her husband went into business with her father, B. C. Vincent, who had a Painting Co. She started work at Shell Oil Company after the birth of her only child, a son. She left there in 1955 and went to work at the First National Bank of Midland. She retired and moved back to Midland at the age of 70. She was a member of St. Luke’s Methodist Church and when she returned, she joined other class members in spending a day a week helping children in the “learn to read” program in the Midland Public School System. She moved to the private housing at Manor Park where she enjoyed 7 years before her health required a move to the Mabee Center and then to the new Cowden Cottage. In her younger years, she loved to bowl and was an avid tennis player. She always had a beautiful patio and welcomed everyone to stop by and relax and enjoy her array of flowers and plants. She loved to travel and take cruises and she treated her pets as family.Family members preceding her in death are her husband, R. V. Hall; her son, Navy Lt.
