Charles Sessions, Devoted father, grandfather, and proud veteran, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a rich legacy spanning five generations.
A man of steady character and strong work ethic, Charles graduated from Texas Tech University before answering the call to serve his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following his military service, he dedicated 34 years as a valued accountant with Mobil Oil Corporation, where his integrity and quiet diligence were appreciated by all who worked alongside him.
In the fall of 1955, Charles married the love of his life, Nancy. Together they built a warm, active home centered on family, community, and joy. Over their 57 years of marriage, they shared a love of square dancing, weekends spent golfing and bowling, and years of slow-pitch softball games.
Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy; his parents, Clyde and Kate Sessions; and his great-grandson, Titus.
He is survived by his four children, Marla (Greg), Mark (Janet), Daryl (Shari), and Greg (Lisa); along with 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, all of whom brought immense pride and warmth to his later years.
A private family service will be held to honor his life and memory. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Angels Care Hospice of San Angelo or a charity of your choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. Online condolences may be made at www.npwelch.com.
