Pastor Charles Floyd Langley, 59, of Emory, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital in Sulpher Springs. Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 3:00PM at Resthaven Cemetery in Midland.Patstor Charles was born on December 28, 1956, in Midland, to Carl and Eva Irene Dean Langley. He married Sharon Elaine Cook in Midland on June 4, 1975. He was a minister for the majority of his life and he coached GMFL teams for four years until he was named the director. Everyone that knew Pastor Charles called him dad. He was loving, a backbone, and a foundation for our family. He knew how to fix everything from a broken heart to the smallest cut. He was the type of person that would give you the shirt off his back. He was our hero.Pastor Langley is survived by his wife, Sharon of Point, Texas; children, Byron Keith Langley (Kim) of Brownwood, Texas, Jerod Heath Langley (Becky) of Emory, Texas, Heather Irene Bomar (Thomas) of Point, Texas, and Kay LeeAnn Langley (Jason) of Emory, Texas; brothers, Marvin and Roy Langley of Midland, Texas; sister, Jeannie Strickland of Midland, Texas; grandchildren, Erin, Joshua, Valauria, Kirsten, Amberlee, Steson, Anthony, Tristan, Angel, Zachary, Crystal, Brittany, Carl, and Michael; and numerous other loving family and friends.He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Eva Irene Dean Langley; one brother, Ronnie Langley; and one grandchild, Baby Bomar.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
