My heart goes out to everyone in the family and friends of Uncle Charles. All of my memories of Charles are as a child, and I regret that I did not get to know him as an adult. Our prayers are with everyone, especially Dave and Greg and Kim and their families. I know my mother was always proud and happy that Charles was her brother. God bless you all.

Charles was a wonderful neighbor for over 20 years. Even though we were next door we were so far away. We are not the one to bother anyone and he respected that but we knew if we needed him he would help. He took care of his family. All my sympathy goes to his children and family. Take care of each other at this time of need.

My memories of my "Uncle Charles" are just brief visits with a quiet, sincere, and gentle man-I miss him and wish I had the opportunity to know my uncle more. My condolences to all who loved him. I love and miss everyone. Teila

For the last 21 years, Alisha has told me stories about Charles and her sisters. Alisha has some very fond memories of all her siblings, but Charles being the only brother means he was her "best brother ever!" Many rocking chair memories is what all of us end up with in a life time. Alisha called Charles every Veteran's Day to personally thank him for his tour of duty to keep America safe. I believe he appreciated all those phone calls. After all, he deserved the honor for fighting for America's freedom. God Bless all you Davis kids. Dolly & Jim Morgan

Although I have not been around my Midland cousins since we were kids, I have wonderful memories, fun memories of spending time with them. Charles was very special, one boy in a large group of girls. He was always happy, friendly and a great person. As a small child, he must have been 8 years old, selling donuts to help his family out and boy! were those leftover donuts good! :o) (he got to keep what he didn't sell). I know he will be greatly missed by all of his family. God bless each and everyone. I love you all and I am praying for you.
