Christopher was born on August 16th, 1999, in Midland, Texas to Chuck and Jodie Sims. Christopher was the kind of man whose presence could light up an entire room, the kind of person people naturally gravitated toward because of his warmth, kindness, and unmistakable smile. A devoted son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend, he loved his family fiercely and made sure people around him always knew they mattered. From a young age, he stood out not only for his athletic ability, but for the heart and determination he carried onto every field. Whether under Friday Night Lights or on the baseball diamond, he played with passion, grit, and humility, leaving behind memories that those who watched him play will never forget. But beyond the trophies, wins, and recognition, what truly defined him was the way he treated people. He had a rare gift for making everyone feel welcome. His laugh and smile were contagious, and he always had a story to share. Family was always at the center of his life. He was a steady source of strength, encouragement, and unconditional love. Whether showing up for big milestones or the smallest everyday moments, he gave his whole heart to the people he loved. His family will forever cherish the memories of his hugs, his advice, his sense of humor, and the countless moments that made life brighter simply because he was there.
Christopher is survived by his wife Reagan Ann Sims, son Christopher Steele Sims, parents Chuck and Jodie Sims, brothers Blake Humble and Ryder Sims, and grandfather Gale Nixon. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Christopher is preceded in death by his grandmothers Phyllis Nixon and Elaine Ballard, and great grandmother Dollie Nixon.
