Chad Landon Knight, 41, of Midland, TX passed away July 18, 2021.
Chad was born January 3, 1980 to Donald and Sandra Knight in Midland, TX where he grew up and lived the majority of his life. He spent brief years in Dallas where his son, Christian (20), still lives, and in Roswell, NM where he met his wife, Jenny, in 2010. Chad and Jenny were married August 11, 2012 in Tinnie, NM and have since lived in Midland where they have raised their daughter, Annabelle (6). Chad worked in the oil and gas industry where he excelled professionally and made many friendships.
Chad could light up a room and turn any situation into a comedy show. One of his favorite things was to host
and entertain. He was a gifted cook, fisherman and avid sports fan, particularly enjoying football and soccer. He enjoyed being outside whether at the golf course or the lake with his family and friends. He passionately helped coached Annabelle’s soccer team for three years, passing his love of the game to her. He served as a volunteer, coach, and board member for the Midland Soccer Association.
Chad is survived by his wife Jenny, son Christian, daughter Annabelle, mother Sandra Knight, father Donald Knight, stepmother Celinda Knight, maternal grandmother Joan Breidenstein, siblings Megan, Katie, Nick and Julianna, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
Chad is preceded in death by his sister Jennifer, paternal grandparents Donald and Helen Knight, and maternal grandfather Robert Breidenstein.
A memorial service will be held 10:00am, Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Branch @ npw.
