Catherine Marie Calvert, 84, of Big Spring, died on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at her residence. I loved Marie so much. She was a dear friend to me. She contacted me after the Alon explosion and I went a visited her a few times and we talked on the phone many many times this past few months. I am grateful for that time with her although I wish I had known she was in the hospital and in her last days recently so I could have said goodbye to her. I will never forget the fun she and Deb and I had on one of many trips to Oklahoma to play Bingo. It was one of the funnest times of my life. She was a special person - the kind that doesnt come along often in one's lifetime. I will miss her dearly. My prayers are with her family.
