Catelyn Brooke Jordan, age 31, of Stanton TX, went to be with Jesus on April 3, 2024. A private service for the family will be under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch.

Catelyn was born on July 23, 1992 to Jerry Anderson and Kim Bryand in Midland, TX. Catelyn entered the world so bravely; she was a miracle! Her birth brought salvation amongst her family. What a testimony she was right from the womb. Catelyn continued her fight through life and was a little firecracker. She faced many trials that may have caused others to throw in the towel, but not her! She persevered, even when the odds weren’t always in her favor.

Catelyn had a heart for animals, and she loved her pets. She had a heart for people, too…she could always see the good in them; even when others couldn’t. She also loved making things beautiful. She had a unique style, and her creative spirit led to amazing artwork and gorgeous flower pieces.

Catelyn knew the goodness of God, and she experienced it multiple times throughout her life. She knew exactly where her help came from; and no one could tell her otherwise. She loved Jesus, her family and friends, and a good tattoo. Her wit and charm could quickly bring a smile to any room she walked into.

Catelyn is survived by her mother, Kim Bryand of Stanton; sister Cacey and brother-in-law Matthew Ruiz and their children Devin, Kilyn, and Jett of Midland; sister Amy Jo Bryand and sons Carter and Jax of Stanton, brother Joe B and sister-in-law Sabrina Bryand and their children Brynlee and Brooks of Hobbs, New Mexico; as well as beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Anderson, her bonus dad, Joe Bryand, and her Poppie, Mema, Nana, and Papa Don. We know her heart was overjoyed by the glory of God and the welcoming crew as she walked through the golden gates of Heaven! The family would like to express their appreciation for all of the texts, calls, prayers, and donations through this difficult time.
