Cary Don Griggs, 58 of Midland, went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2023.  A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, August 24, 2023 and a Mass will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.

Cary was born on June 4, 1965 in Durant, Oklahoma to Gary and Roselyn Griggs. He graduated from Del City High School, Oklahoma, in 1983 and then moved to Midland, Texas shortly after. He attended the University of the Permian Basin where he received his Bachelors in Criminology. He then began his career in law enforcement as a Probation and Parole Officer. He later expanded his knowledge into the Oil and Gas Industry where he flourished and concluded as the Business Development and Sales Director for JW Enterprise. Cary was a 4th degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.  Cary had a deep rooted passion for helping others, riding his motorcycle and spending time with family, especially his four grandkids: Harlow Jordan, Hallie Jordan, Creadyn Griggs and Hazlea Griggs. Cary was an outstanding husband, father, brother, uncle and friend amongst many more titles he wore very proudly. Cary was dependable, fiercely committed to his family and the glue that held us together. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.

Cary is survived by his wife Wendy Griggs, sister Lisa and husband Brent Walden, brothers Charles Griggs and Brandon Oden, daughters Michelle Griggs, Alexa and husband Chad Jordan, son Logan and wife Carlea Griggs and many nieces and nephews. Our family would like to thank everyone that has brought food, prayers and encouragement during this trying time in our life.

Cary is preceded in death by his grandparents Charles and Lucille Griggs, father Gary Griggs, mother Roselyn Oden, and stepsons Brandon and Cameron Massey.
