Carolyn Sue Courts, 71 of Midland, Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 28th, 2024. Services will be 1:00pm, Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Crestview Baptist Church.
Sue was born on May 27, 1953 in Hattiesburg, MS to James & Josie Mobley. Married to Keith for 52 years on July 28th the day Jesus called her home. They met in the 7th grade, and both remember the first time they saw each other. They were high school sweethearts in Buras, Louisiana and got married at age 19 when they moved to Mississippi, Louisiana, and then to Texas where they lived for 48 years. Sue was a secretary and then was a stay-at-home mom raising her 2 children, Byron and Kelly. She and Keith started KC Pipe in 1989 where she was the CFO. She volunteered at the Midland Baptist Crisis Center and was an active member of Crestview Baptist Church teaching Survival Kit to children who became new Christians. She went on Mission trips and served on the Board of Directors for Buckner International, and Northrise University in Zambia.
Sue enjoyed shopping, bible study, and traveling with her dear friends all over the world.
She became a grandmother in 2006 and became the beloved “Sue Sue.” She has 5 grandkids that she spent so much time with and knew so well. Many more called her “Sue Sue” and claimed her as their own. She truly was like a second mom to so many people. Her faith was unmatched. Her love of Jesus was special. Not only did she teach new Christians, but every friend, family, and person she came in contact with that Jesus loved them, they were special and were truly loved. She will leave a hole in so many hearts. But today she’s home with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Well done my good and faithful servant.
