Carol Gard

Carol Gard, 86, of Forsan, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Friday, January 21, 2022, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Ken McMeans, pastor of College Baptist Church, officiating.

She was born April 8, 1935, in El Paso, Texas to Margaret (Key) Davis and Prentis O. Davis. Carol married Leo Gard and he preceded her in death September 13, 2013.

Carol loved to travel and especially enjoyed her trip to Alaska. She traveled to 48 of the 50 states. Carol enjoyed being outdoors and being active. She loved her dogs and doting on them.
She was a member of College Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Van Ness and Vicki Foust; one son, Robert Foust; two grandchildren, Ryan Foust and wife, Keri, and Karol Jimenez and husband, Samuel; five great-grandchildren, Kaelyn Foust, Damian Luna, Carter Luna, Alia Jimenez and Luna Jimenez; one sister, Nancy Smith; and numerous extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family suggests memorials to College Baptist Church, 1105 Birdwell Lane, Big Spring, Texas 79720.
