In Loving Memory of Carlos Ovalle
March 10, 1955 – September 28, 2026
It is with profound sadness and tremendous love that we announce the passing of Carlos Ovalle. Carlos passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 71, surrounded by the love of his family.
Carlos was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Margarita Ovalle, and a loving father to his sons Sergio and Aaron Ovalle and daughter Sandra Valdez. He welcomed their wives, Raquel and Stephanie Ovalle, and husband Jose Cruz Valdez into his family with love and was a proud grandfather and great grandfather.
Carlos was a hardworking man, a provider, and an entrepreneur. As the owner of Ovalle Downhole, he built more than a business, he built something that represented years of sacrifice, determination, perseverance, and his desire to provide a better future for his family.
But those who knew him best will remember Carlos for much more than his accomplishments.
He was a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, father-in-law, brother, uncle, mentor, and friend. His life touched many people, but his greatest legacy lives within his family. The lessons he taught, the sacrifices he made, the stories he shared, and the love he gave will continue through his children and grandchildren for generations to come.
While our hearts are broken by his passing, we are grateful for the 71 years of life God gave him and for every memory his family was blessed to share with him.
Carlos leaves behind his beloved wife, Margarita Ovalle; his sons, Sergio and Aaron Ovalle; his daughter, Sandra Valdez; his son-in-law, Joe Valdez; his daughters-in-law, Raquel and Stephanie; his siblings, Joe “Pepe” Ovalle, Jane Del Bosque, and Irene Buchanan; his grandchildren, and great grandchildren; and many other relatives, friends, colleagues, and loved ones whose lives were touched by him.
His absence will be deeply felt, but his presence will never truly leave us. He will live on in the family he built, the values he passed down, the work he accomplished, and every story told around the table about him.“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
2 Timothy 4:7
