Brenda Kay White, 82, of Ft. Collins, Colorado, formerly of Forsan and Granbury, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Graveside service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Trinity Memorial Park.
Brenda was born October 18, 1942 to parents Noel Douglas Morgan and Mary Pauline “Polly” Roberts Morgan in Colorado City, Texas. She was a lifetime resident of the community. She married George Alvin White September 1, 1961 in Big Spring, Texas. She received her master’s degree and taught school at Big Spring Independent School District for 3 years and then at Forsan Independent School District where she retired. Brenda was a member of Forsan Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the Trio with Zimmalew Boeker and Joyce Baggett and performed many solos. She loved singing on the First United Methodist Church’s Living Christmas Tree. Brenda was a faithful member of the Morningstar Bible study & the Okay Chorale groups in Fort Collins.
She is survived by her daughter Teresa Nornes & husband Paul, granddaughter Katherine Nornes Rieth and husband Rendon of Highlands Ranch, CO and Laura Nornes of Denver, CO, her sister Betty Evans of Granbury, Darrell Morgan and wife Vicki Morgan of Stephenville, Randy Morgan and wife Dr. Jan Morgan of Bedford, Tab Morgan and wife Melanie Morgan of Carrollton, sister-in-law Dolores White of San Angelo and nieces Terrye Smith, Mandy Gulley, Jessica Cowan, Doylina Johnson & Alex Parseghian. Nephews Kurt White, Robert White, Greg Evans, Matt Morgan and Taylor Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband George White.
